The previous post (‘Relapse?’) was written in June 2022… a month or two after I completed the rest of this journal.

The original ending to the journal – written back in March 2022 – is next and is called ‘The Actual Proper End’ (so you don’t get it mixed up with any earlier endings you might have stumbled across, in this blog).

I’ve kept it at the end, ignoring actual chronology, because – for me – it somehow seems like a more fitting conclusion to the story.

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed (is enjoyed the right word? I’m still not sure!) hearing about my family’s journey, since summer 2021. And I look forward to speaking to you again, another time… as long as it’s on a completely different subject. Me, Lizzie and the kids are done with this one. At least, we hope we are.
