I’m back! Or, I should say, Stop Telling Me I’m Brave is back!
So, the plan is I’m going to continue putting up new posts every week or so, for the foreseeable future, until I crack up and give up (or until you do, dear reader).
As I said in the last post (called ‘The Last Post’), the emphasis of these new posts is going to be slightly different: ‘more rib-tickling tales of family life, less sweat-inducing tales of major illness’.
After all, I think my family are getting a little sick of me talking about sickness (although there will be some talk of it – sorry family!).
Oh, another thing. When I started the blog, nearly all of the entries were posted twelve months after they were actually written (it is a ‘memoir blog’ after all). Things have lagged a bit since then, however, and we’re now talking more like a year-and-a-half.
So, that’s it! I hope you enjoy this (to quote The Stone Roses or The Bible or something) ‘Second Coming’ of the blog.
By the way, I liked the idea of calling this continuation of the blog And Other Stories. Until I realised there’s now a chain of clothes shops called And Other Stories. So now the idea feels less appealing.
Ah, screw it, I’m going to call it And Other Stories anyway. Maybe the clothes store will give me some free clothes.
